Ernest Paulsen Custom Interarms MK-X -- 223
Jaw-Dropping example of a master stockmaker’s craft, created in the most visually interesting wood I have ever seen. I believe this to be made of rare Myrtle wood, accented with ebony. The wood isn’t only beautiful with its end to end chatoyance and movement, but its perfectly shaped and finished too in my opinion. The rifle wears a great gloss finished Leupold VariXIIc 4-12 in classic Buehler mounts. The barrel is marked RM (likely the smith that fit the barrel), 4 88 (likely date work was done) and DXX (Douglas Air Gaged) 1-9 (Twist rate). Rifle has a beautifully tuned trigger that breaks just under 2# and wears a shoe. The whole rig as shown is right at 7.5#.
