Jim Hoag was one of the finest and most in-demand Pistolsmiths of the 1970s-1990s. His work was artfully executed, and refined. He is known for his Clean classic work, also for his longslide conversions, and his great Bomar installs and the beavertail grip safety he designed. This one was carefully restored by KGB Customs, with fresh Bluing up top, and matte hardchrome on the bottom. Gun bears many of Jim’s signature touches including flat topped slide, buried Bomar, beautifully refit frame to slide and barrel, Hoag’s extended slide stop, Hoag’s Beavertail, Swenson Ambi Safety. Pistol is tight and smooth, I have test fired it post finish work. Gun comes as shown with one Chrome’d Colt mag.
